- Describe the cultural values, family social structure, and communication patterns ofHispanics, including; Mexican Americans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and Central Americans, and know the strategies for providing effective healthcare for these populations.
- Describe the cultural values, family social structure, and communication patterns of Asian Americans, including Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and Southeast Asians, and know the strategies for providing effective healthcare for these populations.
- Explain the racial/cultural identity model and how this theoretical framework applies to transcultural nursing practice.
